Aposition Creative Union
The International APOSITSIA Music Forum is an annual festival gathering musicians from different countries working in new areas of new music, electroacoustic, experimental, free improvising and ethnic music.

Forum is organized by the APosition Creative Union with the support and help from cultural organizations, like CEC Artslink, Trust for Mutual Understanding, Goethe Institute, cultural departments of the foreign diplomatic representatives in Russian Federation.
APOSITSIA Music Forum consists of 3–4 days of concerts at one of the city concert halls, a series of “gigs” at local clubs, master classes and a conference dedicated to music, culture and philosophy. 
Goals and objectives:
– to present Russian audience with achievements in modern deep music from all over the world
– to promote development of infrastructure of non pop-music projects in Saint-Petersburg like experimental, non-commercial oriented music and related art forms
– to provide an opportunity for Russian and foreign musicians to learn from each other, share and create music together, discuss common concerns, ideas and projects.
For the last seven years APOSITSIA festival gave St. Petersburg audience a unique opportunity to hear many of the famous American artists, i.e. Terry Riley, Pauline Oliveros, Phillip Glass, Hamid Drake and William Parker, Phill Niblock, David Moss, Frank London, Henry Kaiser, Gary Lucas, Charles Gayle, Rhys Chatham by the names of few.
APosition Creative Union has 10 years experience in organizing events, promoting non commercial experimental art.
